I always begin to panic a little bit this time of year. I struggle with fall and winter, and have a strong emotional preference for the sunny months. My clothing during the fall really helps me get a boost of energy and confidence when I’m dragging from the lack of sunshine. Summer definitely isn’t over yet, but it’s certainly time to start thinking about what my Autumn wardrobe is going to look like!
I’m pretty good at not wearing a lot of clothes. I love dresses because you throw on one item and you’re done. I’m not nearly as great at layering pieces or putting together a full outfit. So this fall, that’s what I’ll be working on. I’m vowing to not wear leggings and a sweatshirt every day (at least not when I’m leaving the house). And I’m even going to buy a coat this year, which I haven’t done since I was a kid. I’m going to make this the best transitional season ever! Speaking of transitions… this dress is gonna be super cute with boots and a sweater in the fall, right?!?!?
What are your style goals for Autumn this year? Is there anything you struggle with style-wise that you’re working on? Let me know in the comments!
