It’s regularly reaching 90 degrees outside now, and I’ve completely quit attempting to do my hair or my makeup. For about 2 months every year I make a very serious attempt at becoming an actual mermaid and spend the majority of my days poolside, then cramming every other waking hour at home full of work and pretending like my house doesn’t need to be cleaned in the summer months. It works for me. My partner is undecided on whether or not it works for him.
The permanent clothing theme through the summer is of course to wear as little as possible, and this romper is making that pretty easy for me. I likely could have bought up to two sizes smaller and it would have fit, but I kind of love the fact that it’s constantly falling off my shoulders and reminding me that I’m next to naked. I’ve been wearing it without a bra, but I put one on just for you guys! Throwing a black bra on under things immediately makes them cool and slightly rock n’ roll, right? I’m pretty sure that’s the rule.
My friends at afairtradeworld.com sent me this super cute necklace made from paper beads, which I love because (as you may have noticed) I never ever accessorize. I have super sensitive skin and I’m allergic to just about everything metal, so these paper beads are a beautiful way for me to add a little bit of color to my outfit. I have been searching for posts related to plus size rompers everywhere, and haven't been able to find anything for people over a 1x. I wear a 3x and I just ordered a romper from Rainbow Shops (thanks for introducing me to them btw). I really wanted to see what the different styles look like on someone with my body type just to get feel for what it might look like on me but like said, I couldn't find anything. I think a post here or a try-on haul on your YouTube channel would be awesome and so appreciated.
