Give it up for amazing plus size jeans, ya’ll. Melissa McCarthy’s new line with Seven7 jeans came out and I had a chance to check it out when it first released on HSN.com. I always think jeans are the perfect way to tell how great (or disappointing) a clothing line is going to be, and let’s just say I cannot wait to get my hands on more items because these jeans are a new favorite!!!
Very loyal to my boyfriend jeans, I’m generally pretty nervous about skinny style plus size jeans. They’re always too tight or too loose in weird places, and once I find a pair that fits my belly it doesn’t fit my booty, or my calves. But feeling a little rebellious, I decided to go with the Stretch Pencil Jean. The front of the jeans has a “slimming system” in them. While I don’t care about looking slimmer (like at all), I definitely noticed that the extra fabric helped the jeans maintain their shape, and they didn’t roll down when I sat or leaned forward. Because my jeans were staying put I was actually able to wear a cute little tied up shirt and not worry about having to pull at my clothes to keep them in place which is a first for me! I also really like the styling details of the jeans. The buttons are a pretty rose gold color, and they’re smooth and chic looking.
I was genuinely surprised at how many plus size lines HSN carries, and their sizes range from 16W-28W. If you’re new to HSN you can get $20 off for being a new customer, and all Melissa McCarthy items currently have free shipping! Stay tuned, I also got an adorable skirt from the Serena Williams line that I can’t wait to show you all!
