Growing up, my mom constantly told me that I needed to wear more green. She would tell me it was beautiful on me and made my eyes "pop". So of course, being the rebellious little shit that I am I pretty much swore off wearing green for most of my teenage years into my early twenties. But as life has proven time and time again, my mom was right about a lot of things and I look fantastic in green! She was also right about yellow not being the best color on me, but has always lovingly encouraged me to wear it if I like it (while subtly suggesting I get it in the green option!). When I saw this dress on the Igigi site I knew it was going to make all the fall gloominess disappear the second I put it on, and I was so right! Some times all you need is a beautiful color on a dreary day... and finding a giant wall of art to take pictures next to doesn't hurt either!

I would buy something reliable and that would last. My entire closet is entirely made up of goodwill finds and target clearance. Which I love! But it would be nice to have an item or two that stays nice through 6+ months. Such is the life of a hard working intern!
