Nothing makes this fat girl happier than spring time and crop tops! The sun is shining, plants are peeking out, and my belly is ready for the sun!
In a world where my clothing options are pretty limited by my size, there’s something so rewarding about throwing on an xl shirt, letting my belly fall out of the bottom and proclaiming “SEE IT’S A CROP TOP!!!!”.
I’ve got one goal for myself this spring – wear a crop top in public. I love this belly. It’s a great belly! What’s holding me back from showing it?

First off, I just want to say thank you for loving your body so that fellow big girls such as myself can learn to love ourselves also. Second, your style is insane and I fell in love with so many of the where to shop sites you posted. I never realized there were so many options for plus size women, how refreshing! I can't wait to give some of them a try when I shop for school clothes soon. I wanted to ask if there's any favorite jeans that you have you might be willing to share details about? The only jeans I've ever loved I get from Maurice's, however my thighs rubbing together causes holes and they have to be replaced after frequent wear and tear.

I was scrolling through Instagram and I saw a newsletter about you glorifying obesity. All I could do was smile and show everyone one at work your beauty and confidence. I'm at the age now, 23, where I've been through more than most 23 year olds, but I'm still willing to learn as much as possible. My main focus in life is learn how to love myself unconditionally. I've been over weight all my life. I've struggles with chub rub, and trying to keep up with fashion, let alone keeping up with my friends walking down the street on the sidewalk as I try to regain my breath while still trying to pull off the impression that i'm not dying on the inside. It's a rough feeling. And even though I found your blog a couple days ago, I have yet to close the tab. I read and read and every sentence I read, I feel a rush of understanding. Like finally, someone who understands. Thank you, Corrisa. I wish I knew you personally so I could get even more advice from you, but reading your blog day after day will work for now. AND I WILL be taking all advice you have for clothes because you dress and accessorize amazingly. I honestly can't get enough of you.
