If you've been searching high and low for the perfect plus size swimwear, look no further! Every year, I grow my swimwear army and collect the best suits around. Now, I'm showing you where I get them!
I am really hoping we start seeing the high waisted trend start getting a little lower (I'm ready for BELLIES OUT!), but right now the high waist suit reigns! And, since we're almost into May, it's time to get shopping!!! Thank goodness we're not stuck in ill-fitting tankinis and one pieces that squeeze us so hard we can't breath. Options are increasing, and this post is gonna tell you all about them! Let's dive in!!!!
Good American
Good American is doing what I need with plus size swimwear. I have been desperate for sexy swim in bold colors for too many years! Their "always fits" designs are super stretchy and contour to so many different shapes. Their sizes go to 5x in swim and start around $25.
Eloquii
Eloquii is blowing me away with their new swim line. I've got to try a few of these and I am completely obsessed! Better yet? They go up to size 28! I have high hopes for where this swimwear line is going and it's bright bold future!
Ulla Popken
Bringing back the chic-ness of the one piece swimsuit, I love this year's selection from Ulla Popken. Beautiful suits that you can count on fitting your plus size body. Sizes up to 34, and prices starting around $45.
Target
Affordable, available, accessible. Target's line of women's plus size swimwear has a style for anybody and they continue to add new styles all the time. Over the last several years their designs have become more fun and stylish, and I can't wait to see what the rest of the season holds! Prices starting at $20.
Fashion To Figure
I'm in love with Fashion To Figure's new plus size swim line! The cuts are interesting and unique while also keeping our plus size bodies in mind. The patterns are fierce, and the color selections are anything but neutral! Prices start around $30 and sizes go to 4x.
Lane Bryant
Lane Bryant isn't your mommas plus size swimwear destination anymore. They have trendy, sexy suits that are created with curves in mind. Lane Bryant's plus size swim goes to size 30 and starts around $40.
AdoreMe
Adore me is a subscription brand with some of the cutest swim, lounge, and undies around. Their suits fit beautifully, and mine have lasted me many seasons of consistent wear in chlorine. Prices start around $35, sizes up to 4x.
Old Navy
Traditional, well-fitted, sizes that you probably know plenty about - Old Navy continuously has easy to wear suits that are affordable. Prices start around $25 and sizes are available from 1x-4x.
Unique Vintage
If you're a funky vintage-loving, retro, beach going babe you're going to love what they've got! Lots of one piece options with low-cut leg styles that are so cute! One of their suits is what was my "gateway" into the bikini world. It gave me tons of confidence and made me feel great being back in a bathing suit after many years, so I have a special place in my heart for them. Sizes up to 4X and prices around $40.
Alpine Butterfly Swim
You will see me in a new Alpine Butterfly Swim suit every season, and can even check out a Youtube haul with many of them! ABS consistently puts out new exciting bikinis made just for plus size bods, and we here at Fat Girl Flow are big fans! Prices start around $50, sizes to 6x.
Shein
Shein has come pretty far in the last several years. When I ordered from them 5 years ago the sizes were all over the place and barely fit - today they're fairly consistent and offer a TON of options at SUPER low prices. Like really cheap plus size swimwear ya'll! Give yourself some serious time to scope out this site!

Any thoughts on Hot Topic plus size swim wear? I think they have a relationship with Torrid, but can't tell if their sizing is the same?? The new Disney line is ADORABLE and I'd let my belly hang out if I could look like a Disney princess! 🙂
I had no clue that they sold plus sizes!!!! They are definitely owned by the same company as torrid, I would assume they're also the same sizing - if anything I might order a size up just to be safe! <3

Rebdolls has suits up to a size 5x. I brought a very cute bikini from them they also have cute high cut one pieces.
Could you tell a place that sells swim bras for a EFJ BRA SIZE!!?!? Lol I would appreciate any help. I found a cute "curvy girl" swim suit alas lol my bust requires an underwire bra at all times. Plus the suit is sexy with a bra rather then without. Thanks for the help.

What Bree said! My titties are fabulous and at least a G cup with around a 38 inch band size, which makes finding a well-fitting bra a royal pain and swimwear extremely difficult, even at plus size stores.

As a teen who is not on the slim side I have always struggled trying to find a bathing suit store that made me feel young and cute. I am so thankful to have fallen across this website because it saved me time and tears I would have spent on clothing stores that never have worked for me but were the only ones I knew of. I personally found much success on torrid and mod cloth and found myself venturing to the tops, dresses, and bottoms and fell in love!
Did you check out lane bryant this year? I'm seeing stuff that's actually on trend in terms of mesh, ruffles, patterns, etc.

My problem with Lane Bryant is that I feel like their clothes are really expensive but are not of a level of quality to justify the cost.

Love love love this! I'm struggling to find a suit long enough in the torso to fit. The closest I've come is the white and flamingo suit from Rainbowshops.com. It's really too short but with the halter ties, I'm making it work. I'm 5'5" and a size 22 but am an awkward lumpy apple shape (3 kids! Picture the Michelin Man in a one piece) and most suits stop on me under my boobs. Not a look I'm going for! Any suggestions for suits that fit over the belly but don't leave me tugging the front leg holes down to cover the lower belly? Why oh why do plus size suits not come with bra type adjustable tops on the inside so you can get a supportive, good fit??? Keep on Flowing!!
I think that the most supportive suits I've found are ones from SimplyBe and Swimsuits for all!!!

LOVE this post! I've never shopped at Forever 21 but saw they have some to die for swim suits! I'm a 40DD on top and a solid size 18 apple shape and 5'5". Should I just go for the 3x size? (Their size charts are a joke).

I’m appreciative of your list, but I still find most of these styles unflattering and not stylish! I’m 55 years old, and not going to wear most of these. I finally found a lot of really pretty swimsuits at Gottex. They have plus sizes and also go up to size 18 or 20 in some of their “regular” styles. Only difficulty is searching by size on their website! Many on sale and coming out with New Arrivals even now in fall.
