If you've been searching high and low for the perfect plus size swimwear, look no further! Every year, I grow my swimwear army and collect the best suits around. Now, I'm showing you where I get them!
I am really hoping we start seeing the high waisted trend start getting a little lower (I'm ready for BELLIES OUT!), but right now the high waist suit reigns! And, since we're almost into May, it's time to get shopping!!! Thank goodness we're not stuck in ill-fitting tankinis and one pieces that squeeze us so hard we can't breath. Options are increasing, and this post is gonna tell you all about them! Let's dive in!!!!
Good American
Good American is doing what I need with plus size swimwear. I have been desperate for sexy swim in bold colors for too many years! Their "always fits" designs are super stretchy and contour to so many different shapes. Their sizes go to 5x in swim and start around $25.
Eloquii
Eloquii is blowing me away with their new swim line. I've got to try a few of these and I am completely obsessed! Better yet? They go up to size 28! I have high hopes for where this swimwear line is going and it's bright bold future!
Ulla Popken
Bringing back the chic-ness of the one piece swimsuit, I love this year's selection from Ulla Popken. Beautiful suits that you can count on fitting your plus size body. Sizes up to 34, and prices starting around $45.
Target
Affordable, available, accessible. Target's line of women's plus size swimwear has a style for anybody and they continue to add new styles all the time. Over the last several years their designs have become more fun and stylish, and I can't wait to see what the rest of the season holds! Prices starting at $20.
Fashion To Figure
I'm in love with Fashion To Figure's new plus size swim line! The cuts are interesting and unique while also keeping our plus size bodies in mind. The patterns are fierce, and the color selections are anything but neutral! Prices start around $30 and sizes go to 4x.
Lane Bryant
Lane Bryant isn't your mommas plus size swimwear destination anymore. They have trendy, sexy suits that are created with curves in mind. Lane Bryant's plus size swim goes to size 30 and starts around $40.
AdoreMe
Adore me is a subscription brand with some of the cutest swim, lounge, and undies around. Their suits fit beautifully, and mine have lasted me many seasons of consistent wear in chlorine. Prices start around $35, sizes up to 4x.
Old Navy
Traditional, well-fitted, sizes that you probably know plenty about - Old Navy continuously has easy to wear suits that are affordable. Prices start around $25 and sizes are available from 1x-4x.
Unique Vintage
If you're a funky vintage-loving, retro, beach going babe you're going to love what they've got! Lots of one piece options with low-cut leg styles that are so cute! One of their suits is what was my "gateway" into the bikini world. It gave me tons of confidence and made me feel great being back in a bathing suit after many years, so I have a special place in my heart for them. Sizes up to 4X and prices around $40.
Alpine Butterfly Swim

Shein
Shein has come pretty far in the last several years. When I ordered from them 5 years ago the sizes were all over the place and barely fit - today they're fairly consistent and offer a TON of options at SUPER low prices. Like really cheap plus size swimwear ya'll! Give yourself some serious time to scope out this site!

Hey Corissa! Love your Tumblr, Youtube, and this blog! I was just wondering if you had an opinion on Lane Bryant suits and if you ever shop there in general. I have heard that their jeans can run up to 3 sizes too small and they only go up to 26/28 so that leaves a lot of us out straight out of the gate. Plus they are pretty pricey. What do you think and do you have any experiences with Lane Bryant that you could share?

They make lots of suits with what's called "rouching" now. It helps to conceal which may help you be a little more comfortable <3

I am getting back on my school's swim team and whenever a suit seems to work it ends up being too short or not tight enough around my breasts so when i swim my boobs are almost hanging out to my nips. No bathing suit in this size category have high enough sides.I think it should be an option since it makes your legs look longer.

I'm frustrated because most of the vendors/sites I'm looking at really DON'T offer extended sizes. For example, swimsuitsforall, really only offers up to a 24 in many of the cutest styles. To me it's a bit of misleading advertising for them to say "we have sizes to 32!" but really only limit what they're offering to styles that look like ten-year old merchandise they bring back every year when it didn't sell the year before.
Also, many of the other "plus" sites, only go to a 3x. The best I can tell, a 3x might be about a 22-24, so again--in today's market, I'm not sure that's a big feature.
WHERE is the smart business woman who will come forward and design true plus-sized swimwear in stylish prints (not black! not giant flowers! not tiny piping! ) that are true extended sizes, STARTING at 24 and going up? The woman who does this, will make a fortune! Size 24 should be the lowest size swimsuits start at in the plus market -- not the highest. Sign me frustrated! I don't want old lady styles!
I AM WITH YOU!!!! I have been frustrated this season several times by finding out that the newest coolest plus size swimwear only goes up to a size 22/24 and won't actually fit me (unless I want to feel very uncomfortable). I AM happy to say that SmartGlamour is starting a plus size swimwear line and I will be reviewing that very soon. I'm hoping even more designers start creating bigger sizes. ugh.
I have just ordered yet another swimsuit online but I am not hopeful. I can't seem to find a swimsuit that fits my tummy and chest but keeps me covered and is snug around the top of my legs. I am big size 26/28 but I have thin arms and legs. Any suggestions? I live in the UK
