Friends!!!! I’m doing some things a little different over in Fat Girl Flow land right now, I’m really anxious to see what all of you think of it! I’m going to start incorporating more outfits that I wear on an every day basis, and also flexing my creative muscles a little bit more by practicing my editing skills to suit my “vibe”. If you read my last post you know that I’m kind of trying to figure out how to manage the various social outlets I’m on. I want to bring fresh and fun content while not inundating ya’ll with so much that you can’t keep up… and I’d like to have a day off occasionally as well!

Hopefully you’ll think that all of this is cohesive and easy to follow. Change is weird, but that’s all it is. Just weird and different. It’s not bad or good, just something we all have to do some times!

So onto the fashion… ignore my unbuttoned pants…

Have you heard of Lovesick?! It’s a new online plus size store (and physical store in some cities as well!), that carries sizes up to 26. They’re Torrid’s baby sister, and they have some super cute less expensive fashions. They’re like if Torrid and some indie rock band got together and had a baby. It’s pretty adorable.

I’ve now ordered two shirts, a pair of mauve jeans, a dress, and 3 bralettes from them. You guys, these bralettes. I’m dying over them. I bought one, and immediately went online and bought two more.

The shirt you see in the above pictures is a new favorite. I’m in love with ringer tee’s and think they’re just the perfect 70’s throwback. I’ve washed this one twice now and I can’t believe it, but it’s seriously got softer and more comfy with every wash. Another cool thing about the brand is that (in my experience) it’s the exact same sizing as Torrid. So you know what to expect. I love that.

Shirt – Lovesick | Jeans – Torrid | Bag – Dooney And Bourke | Shoes – Dansko

You look like a true 70s babe here, Corissa! I’m LOVING it

I just discovered you after I saw an ad for Dia and Co. I’m really enjoying both your YouTube and your blog.

I was wondering if you ever would consider posting measurements for the items you sir in your hauls? It would be so helpful, especially for online only stores.

Thank you for sharing all the fabulous clothes!

I keep intending to put my measurements in my “about” section. I WILL DO IT THIS WEEK!!! Look at that. I’m making a commitment. I can do this!

Great idea! I’d love to see more “everyday” type outfits along with dressier/fancier looks. Lots of fashion bloggers don’t get that some people can’t (or won’t) work super hard on their look every single day. Also don’t worry about “overwhelming” us with your content! Its interesting, down to earth, and people eat it up! Love your work:)

You’re so sweet Mandy, thank you for the kind feedback I FEEL VERY VALIDATED <3

where is your bracelet from? I have really fat wrists and companies don’t make them big enough for our kind. I’m just looking for simple boho bracelets. Thanks in advance!

Does the shirt in the picture fit to size? I’m in between sizes and don’t know if I should size up.

    • fatgirlflow April 28, 2016 at 5:00 pm

I ordered a size 3 because I wanted it to be a bit tight. If I wanted it to fit like it fit on the model I would have ordered a size 4. I am a size 24/26 on top with a 46DD bust <3

I think I saw your mauve jeans on IG and then immediately went over and bought a pair of my very own. They’re so cute and go with, oddly, most everything in my closet!

OH MY GOOOOOOOD they look good for sure! I hope I can buy something there someday because I think it’ll be expensive to be shipped to Indonesia :((

I just received my package from Lovesick! It’s all amazing. I got the star print capri’s and matching Cami. Those camis are amazing. Previously if I had to purchase a cami it either was too big in the bust to be long enough. But theirs are a perfect fit! I can’t, or maybe I can, tell you how amazing it is to have clothing fit.

After my twin pregnancy my body changed a lot. 18m later and I still look pregnant. It’s been very heartbreaking to have to go up a size in clothing because my hips are much wider now. At 64 inch hips but only 54 bust it’s near impossible to fit into most size charts. I’m a weird Apple/Pear mix now. And when I look at size charts it seems like nothing will fit.

All of that ramble to say, you really have had a positive impact on my body awareness and my ability to find clothing I love, love, love! I’m slowly coming to accept that I don’t have to hide my body in tents. I sill have trouble seeing my body as it really is. But it’s a work in progress. Thank you so much. <3

question about the bralettes: When or how does one wear a bralette? Instead of a bra? or?

    • fatgirlflow June 8, 2016 at 11:35 am

yes! haha it’s supposed to be a type of replacement for a bra, but you could also wear it as kind of like a leisure bra, i guess? how fancy does a leisure bra sound?!?!?
