Ok first of all can we talk about how GREEN everything is? Oh my goodness HELLO SPRING I LOVE YOU!!!!

I am obsessed with bell bottoms. I have had a hard time staying on trend with jeans most of my life. I don’t know what’s hip from one year to the next, and by the time they finally make the cool clothes for fat girls the trend is over and suddenly I’m wearing bedazzled, bootcut, whiskered jeans and everyone is looking at me like I missed the memo.

So when I saw these bell bottoms I didn’t question whether or not they were cool or trendy, I just snatched them up as quickly as possible! And I’m so happy I did!!! They are so comfy, are the perfect length on me (I’m 5’8″) when I wear a tiny two inch heel, and they are the perfect vintage blue color that I love love love!!!

If you’re not familiar with the term VBO, I’d like to introduce you to it. It means Visible Belly Outline. And you can see I’m rocking the vbo here. I don’t wear shapewear because it isn’t comfortable for me. I feel a bit empowered when I show my body for exactly what it is. I’m fat, and my belly hangs down, and that exists whether you can see it in my clothes or not. So I choose to let people see it in my clothes. These jeans have a built in tummy control panel (which is funny because how could this tummy ever be controlled?) that is neither uncomfortable or annoying. It’s also light and breathable so if you did choose to wear shapewear with these jeans it wouldn’t become too suffocating!

I am certain these jeans are going to make several more appearances on the blog. I am totally in love.
